Responsible and Ethical Use of AI in Mental Health
Artificial intelligence is already entering psychotherapy and supervision — often before clinicians receive guidance on how to use it safely. This workshop helps mental health clinicians and supervisors understand how to responsibly integrate AI into their work without compromising ethics, confidentiality, or clinical judgment. You will learn practical ways AI can assist with documentation, treatment planning, and supervision, what risks to avoid, and how to make informed decisions about when not to use it. The course also addresses privacy, bias in AI systems, informed consent, and transparency, with concrete guidance for aligning AI use with professional ethics and standards of care so you can use these tools confidently and responsibly in real clinical settings.
This course provides 1.5 CE credits exclusively for NYS LMSW and LCSW. Select the $49.99 option for CE, and the $39.99 without CE. To get the CE you must complete the evaluation form after course completion.
